INTRODUCTION
Aufhauser SilverAlloy BV-68 is a special alloy (very low level of impurities) for vacuum brazing.
APPLICATIONS
Use Aufhauser SilverAlloy BV-68 on ferrous and non-ferrous alloys. Because of its low vapor pressure SilverAlloy BV-68 performs excellently in vacuum applications. For example: in the assembly of electronic valves and vacuum tubes. Use it also when brazing metallized ceramics to nickel-cobalt-iron assemblies or joining glass to metal seals.

All other metallic impurities having a vapor pressure higher than 10-7mm Hg at 500°C are limited to 0.002% each. Impurities having a vapor pressure lower than 10-7mm Hg at 500°C are limited to a total of 0.075%. (This applies to all forms except powder and extrudable paste.)
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Aufhauser SilverAlloy BV-68 has excellent corrosion and oxidation resistance, compared to other silver-copper alloys.
