INTRODUCTION
Aufhauser SilverAlloy A-25 is an economical high-temperature filler metal for ferrous and nonferrous joints not requiring high ductility or impact strength.
APPLICATIONS
SilverAlloy A-25 is suitable in the joining of ferrous, nonferrous and dissimilar metals and alloys with close joint clearances. It is similar to SilverAlloy A-40, however flow is less active and temperature range and brazing temperatures are greater. This alloy tends to liquate if heated slowly; therefore rapid heating is recommended. Since this alloy is not ductile during cooling, after brazing it must be allowed to cool without being subjected to mechanical or thermal stress.
